About the Author
David Page is at Co-Director, Media South Asia Project, Institute of Development Studies. Anita Inder Singh is at Fellow at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the Wolfson College, University of Oxford. Penderel Moon was an officer in the Indian Civil Service until his resignation in 1943. Gopal Das Khosla served in the Indian Civil Service and retired as the Chief Justice of the Punjab High Court in 1961. Mushirul Hasan is Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
